A special presentation took place for Chester-le-Street Sea Cadets at the Riverside Park last week.
From funding presented to them by Councillor Allan Bainbridge a few weeks ago twelve cadets were able to attend the Offshore Week and on their return took part in a presentation which was attended by invited guests and parents.
The twelve young cadets were presented with certificates and uniform badges.
County Councillor nominated Councillor for the Army Cadets, Air Force Cadets and Sea Cadets Jim Cordon was also in attendance.
